My Spiritual Journey, told in Haikus:

Aversion

when I visit Mom
greets me at the door with do
I want to shower?

Craving

Is one published book
so much to ask from the world
after laughing at me?

Attachment

My beloved son,
smart, handsome too; hope he
won't get her pregnant.

Renunciation

Jewess is leaving:
home; cat; refrigerator
Bring Water; Zoloft....

Endurance

Yesterday, New England chills;
Today, cold then hot
flashes in California.

Humility

The smart black shoes
my daughter gave me;
cheaper than new ones.

Renunciation

Indian Restaurant
bread came late, can't sop up meal:
My empty platter.

Gratitude

Son-in-law brings me
chocolate but my daughter,
eats it, sparing me.

Restraint

This is the good life:
whole foods, skip dessert,
post-midnight noshing.

Temptation

Concert ; trance music
he sets up my tent....I hope
I won't get horny.

Awakening

peachy rose! I smell,
sighing, praise God's creations...
my nose, it is wet.

Nirvana

Five foot Jewess
with a harem of men!
My teeth on the table.

Enlightenment

Lacking health and wealth,
she walks alone with Goddess;
Give up the bitching.
